Upper Nile Press (UNP):

Purpose:  When the church was under ban during President Idi Amin’s regime.  Bringing books to Uganda was very difficult because the church was almost non-existent.  Books were being smuggled into Uganda.  During this time it was required to the East African Union President to provide some funds to set up a Printing Press.  Finally the money was received from USA to put up a printing press in Kireka.  Now by God's Grace this press is printing all kinds of stuff for the Adventist Church in Uganda.  

Operations: The press is printing following things for the church:

1.   Sabbath School lessons    2.  Missionary Reports

3.  Morning watch                   4.  Tithe Receipts

5.   Song books                      6.  Periodicals

7.  Stationary for Office and church uses
